Why wasn't the ref made to look at the screen for the pen? You can always trust Lee effing Mason to make the wrong decision. Why is he still allowed to officiate when his incompentence has been consistently proven.

Because the ref played advantage and the advantage passed

Strange decision to play JP ahead of Veltman and Webster. He clearly isn't good enough yet.

Don’t want to go all conspiracy theory, but every time we have an opportunity to break into the top echelon of the table we seem to have dodgy refereeing going against us.

Sure, last goal was 87,9% his fault but the first one... plenty of players did poor things.
Agreed. Seemed a bit slow to react but hardly could be deemed his fault. The second one was a shocker. Hopefully he’ll pop up with the equaliser and shut us all up. A game we’ve totally controlled, let down by a couple of moments of bad defending.
