23 year old Stephen Crainey signs for Leeds from Southampton for £200,000 on a 3 year contract.

Nice deal if you can afford it. Even better if you can't. But hey, who's counting the pennies eh. Its Leeds, they are a "Big Club", so thats fine.

Other than this £200 grand for Crainey they've all been free transfers Del, but they've brought in at least half a dozen players with Premiership experience, and contracts like that don't come cheap. Certainly far and away beyond the means of the majority of the teams in this division.
