Middle East businessman Sheik Abdul bin Mubarak Al Khalifa attended the draw with Newcastle United on Sunday.
The mult-millionaire, who has strong connections with United Arab Emirates football, has been credited with an interest in making a cash injection to the financially troubled Elland Road outfit.
Professor John McKenzie is busy trying to reduce the Yorkshire side's debts, and Al Khalifa's interest in investing into the Premiership club could provide a timely boost.
Leeds have sold a number of their top stars over the past year or so, and Mark Viduka and Danny Mills are both believed to be unsettled.
Mills is being linked with a loan move to Birmingham City in some quarters, after being left out of the line-up for the 2-2 draw with Newcastle at the weekend.
