as the world gone mad, why on earth would Strachan want to go to Leeds? Worse team, no money, idiots in charge.

Ultimately though Leeds are a bigger club - if they can get over their current problems. So too risky for me, I would stay with Southampton if I was Strachan. However, can he really do much more than he has done there? ie they are never going to be able to challenge right at the top so maybe qualifying for the UEFA cup is as good as they can hope for.

I think Strachan is overrated but I do see no reason why Southampton cannot push on. Generally speaking, 4th place (and a champions league spot) should be the aim of every club outside the current top 3.
