Did you go to any games last season? They tried that and he was hopeless he has been better this year as he is playing wide, running at defenders and cutting in. Keep him doing that.

Exactly, he did not score hardly any goals last season. This season, he has got three from a central position. But I was saying play him central for the last two or three seasons.

Good use of a double negative which I'm sure will have delighted the grammar police.

It might be good to try leaving KLL up - go for a fast breakaway with KLL outpacing the chasing defenders to go 1 on 1 with the GK, rather than pass it to someone who'll hold it up and wait until support arrives (and the other team has got back into their two banks of four).

Do you actually watch a game or make stuff up in your head?

Lua Lua has not been playing central, he's been playing wide. His first goal was scored from a fairly wide position in the 18 yard box. He makes a run in from the wing to collect a pass from Dale Stephens (he's still wide of the 18 yard box at this time), he then squares up to the goal looking to shoot but realises that its not the best option so takes on the full back, beats him with a bit of trickery and hits the left foot shot in to the bottom corner.

His second goal against Southend was scored through the middle but this was on a counter attack so players aren't in their normal positions. His third goal this weekend was from a central position but he was out wide and slowly drifted in as the attack was coming down the other wing (it's what a good winger does), he then realises his marker has gone to the ball leaving himself unmarked and makes the run to the centre of the pitch calling for the pass. Also the penalty against Fulham came from him starting out wide and coming inside to get into the box.

Playing him out wide means he can take on a full back when he has the ball, we all know he likes to cut inside but starting him in a central position removes some of the most dangerous aspects of his game. Keep him out wide, he can beat players and create space for himself and teams are getting wary now and trying to get defenders doubling up on him which creates space for other players.

Not what I am saying. We need another speed merchant for the breakaways running into space. Buckley would be the best. Baldock might do at a pinch.

Lualua can still use his pace but like a fast striker, not a winger all the time. At substitution time, he can always be pushed out wide and a second off-the shoulder striker like Baldock brought on.

As long as Lualua has got the choice of two directions to go in. Hampered being too close to the touchline and he has limited choices, even more so if he is doubled up on.

If he is more central he may have three players on him but he can keep the ball better than Tex. Still then might need another wide player (could be an advancing full back as long as we are not winning 1-0 with a few minutes to go).
