I can't believe the teams above us, and to a lesser extent, us as well, have handed the league to Cardiff on a plate.

There's been moments over the last month of so, where if the likes of Watford and Hull hadn't been busy with the gift wrap, the comedy of an under pressure Cardiff tumbling down the league, would have been too good to be true.

Brighton fixtures:

Charlton H
Leicester H
Middlesbrough A
Peterborough A
Blackpool H
Leeds A
Wolves H

Leicester fixtures:

Barnsley A
Brighton A
Birmingham H
Bolton H
Crystal Palace A
Watford H
Nottingham Forest A

This looks promising to me.

When you put under pressure, games like Peterborough, Leeds and Boro away all look like banana skins.
Although it is comforting to know that Leicester have to play us, Palace, Watford, Forest. And that they can't buy a win at the moment.

Banana skins or tough fixtures?
If we make the AMEX a fortress and pick up a few points away we will do it.

There's only one team that can stop Brighton now,and that's us.

But Birmingham are bang on form and could catch somebody else.

I also agree with the comment re: Cardiff.

However, you'd have to say that whoever goes up this year will merely be in line for very good parachute payments after next season.

PS Avoid all cliches if you can. Obviously I do !
