Whilst our little luxurious slice of Spanish omlette is clearly a cut above the rest, it's got to be noted that 9 of our players that got us into 4th were playing for us in League 1 last season.

They've risen to the challenge and are playing as well as we could ever of hoped. To come back from our run before chrismas and put in a performance like last night as the pressie begins to mount, brings out the man love. Gus is a fecking magician.

I was saying exactly this to some of my fellow BHA supporting colleagues at work - Brez, greer, Navarro, Bridcutt, Vincelot, Calderon, LuaLua and Barnes were all written off by previous clubs of a championship standard and yet it's those and others in the squad who are responsible for getting the club to its highest league position in March since the 1980s.

A palace fan on BBS made the point that he'd rather organically grow a team like Dougie is than than buy there way to the prem like us.
