As I can't use the search facility can anyone remind me what the dates are for the Le Havre game, and whether there has been any confirmation or not.

We (my wife actually) have just found a new ferry service Speedferries from Dover to Boulogne for as little as £30 return, which I think is worth booking.

That must be about 150miles driving though.

When you are driving from manchester anyway, then it is probably the easiest route.

Around 7/8th July either the Friday night or Saturday afternoon.

Speedferries worked out around £90 when I last looked.

I've just checked prices and it is either £19 or £15 one way depending what time of the day you travel.

(Papers say a price war boke out this week).

The Supporters Club newsletter says it is Saturday evening, with the ground TBC.

When will this be officially announced

It doesn't say.

FFS I've asked the club (again), the sooner this is sorted the better.

I've checked the le Havre website but there is nothing about the game on there either.

(French O-Level permitting)

Nice website though and includes a forum, perhaps we should try posting (in french of course).

Any volunteers.

Didn't realise till today Newhaven - Dieppe Ferry Service is finished :(

Much preferred Dieppe to Calais.

You could always do it yourself using the wonderful babelfish translation thingie:

wonderful babelfish translation thingie

e.g. 'When are the fixtures out' becomes 'Quand ont-ils lieu les montages dehors ?'

Though use with caution. I just retranslated 'Quand ont-ils lieu les montages dehors ?' back into English. Which gave the somewhat meaningless 'When do they take place outside the assemblies?'.

Hmmm ??? Might baffle the good citizens of Le Havre somewhat...

Fixtures is usually 'Le calendrier' on most French sites.

Thus...'Le calendrier, quand est-ce qu'il sera publie?'

Je vous remercie...

"Will the calendar, when it be publishes?"
