Count your blessings.

If you want to know if your ripped of send me the following by pm.

Price of season ticket. Number of games inc/excluding cups.

The same for last year.
I'll have a stab at it.

I don't have last season's figures with me, but I believe the season ticket this year (South Stand Centre) was £415 for 24 games.

I think last year I paid £380, again for 24 games.

Last year's Cup Game was Exeter in the Worthington Cup. It went to extra time.

To be honest i think you are all f***ing lucky to be able to afford to get a season ticket anyway and your moaning just makes me pissed off that i can't actually afford a season ticket.

I hope for all of you that the Forest Green game is a stormer and you see the brightest player we have (Jakey) bag a couple of goals for the senior team.

ENOUGH !!!!!

Is it me or is everybody who is moaning , missing the point.

The free cup game is the FIRST home cup competition game played by the senior side.

This means if a) The first round or second round of the league cup was at home, it would have been that.

if the first round of the LDV had been away etc it would have still been waiting.

If the club had said, we'll wait for the
3rd Round of the League Cup (and we go out to M'Boro)
or
the 1st Round of the FA cup and we go out in an away tie
therefore no cup game supplied when one was available (hindsight is a great view)

Then they could in all probablity then get sued by some perdantic, pshycologically disterbed , mentally unstable twat (see FG) who wants to make a name for themselves, over a breach of contract, as that is what is entered into when you buy your season ticket from the club under the T and C's.

Stop whining and go if you want to or don't if you can't be bothered, but THINK about what you are saying first. Be pissed off it is Forest Green in the LDV by all means, but that is the luck of the draw (quite literally), you could have got jack shit if every comp had been drawn away.

Its not free I agree, its to buy of dumfucks who keep moaning about the cost of season tickets who are to f***ing thick to realise that the club could probably sell twice as many season tickets and the club needs the money to stop going bust.

Thats you stupid.

Eh? The Club can't fill all the seats at Withdean, let alone sell twice as many season tickets. AND they advertised a 21 game package because they couldn't sell all of the available season tickets.
BTW, there was no Season Tickets left last year....bl**dy glory hunters:angry:

I believe that is wrong for a start. The letter that arrives with your season ticket outlines the re-imbursement options in that eventuality. If I remember rightly a discount is applied on your next season ticket application, or, if not renewed a reimbursement but to what amount I can't remember.

So you pay 17.30 per game compared to £15.83 last season.

an increase of 9.2%.

minus the increase in average earnings ,average of jan-jun 2003

=3%

9.2%-3=6.2%

Now 6.2%, this is how much youve been "ripped of "by. BUT...

It doesnt include the increase in rent the club pay, and the average increase in players wages. These would have to be weighted and then added or taken away from the 6.2%.

Sorry, guys, but I can't afford a season ticket either. It nearly costs me my marriage each Spring.

I have gone seriously overdrawn in order to watch the club I've supported as a young boy, and make other sacrifices to make up for it.

From what I've read on here, you guys are out clubbing and pissing it up the wall quite a lot (if you're to be believed), so sort your bloody priorities out and stop moaning about not being able to afford something you want.

Sorry, but that's really pissed me off.

All very interesting looney, but the "rip off" is the assumption that it will be a reserve team that plays.

I don't buy a season ticket to watch the reserves. I expect the best team available to the manager to be picked for each and every match.

Hopefully, Steve Coppell will surprise me, and I won't feel ripped off at all.

By the way, there is no suggestion that I won't be there!

Are you taking the piss.

Last time i went clubbing was about a month ago and this week i been to the pub twice, once being before the cheseerfild game.

I don't want to have to explain myself to you but i really cannot justify 400 quid to myself all at once.

And what f***ing priorities you CHISLA, are you gonna start this age old 'i'm a better fan because i go to all the games' bullshit?

Don't f***ing start, i get to as many games as i can afford mate.

Do you expect me to sit in my room and become a hermit so that i can get to the albion games?

f*** sake....

ps dwayne. Go f*** yourself mate.

Wrong. Thats your assumption. The rules state that you field your best side, as its a mickey mouse cup its quite reasonable not to risk players because of more important games, thats the way Coppel may prioritise it.

The teams that win it tend to give it a higher priority cos the manager doesn't think they are going anywhere. Didn't Carlisle reach the final the other year?
