Yes. Well, you've never quite managed to get your head around the fact that the Football League isn't an exclusively English league, have you Brixtaan? Despite the fact that it hasn't been an exclusively English league since way back in 1920.

I know it's difficult for you, but do try to keep up, there's a good lad.

Cardiff,Queen of the South,Shamrock,Gibraltar,Falklands...much of a muchness.Your ceiling should be the Conference though.

I think Gibraltar would struggle in the Premiership without significant investment in the playing staff.

Without wanting to be too contraversial I sort of agree with Brixtaan. I mean what right have the FA got to turn down any tom dick & harry from the british isles with teams like Cardiff & Swansea already in the league. I dont mind the likes of the said teams but it does smell of "one rule for them and another for us"

You read it wrong chez. Our Brixtaan wouldn't have Cardiff and Swansea in the English leagues at all if he had his way. If Newport County were still around it would be no good them pleading Monmouthshire, they'd be on their bikes too.

Even LB is a South Wales racist bigot. He'd rather piss on Wrexham FC than help them because they're in North Wales. I wasn't aware of such a division until he pointed it out in a previous thread.

Not so, WW. In fact, I dare say I've contributed more to Wrexham's fight for survival (or at least to their fighting fund and supporters trust) than most of the hand-wringing do-gooders who frequent NSC. However, that doesn't mean to say that I actually like the gogs. And I don't. Never have, and never will.

I can understand that. If Palace got into trouble then I would do what I could to help them. I'd still hate them afterwards though.

What were the odds at the the start of March for us and Watford to get relegated?

Well actually, i'd never given it a moments thought before i saw the opportunity to bowl LB a slower ball, which he neatly clipped away for a quick single (although he missed the point that just because it's always been this way, that don't make it right).

I'd love it if three Scots clubs joined in,providing they started in the Championship.

Don't know about the start of March, but Albion were as big as 16/1 not long ago, and I can remember Watford being quoted at 20/1.

How dare you, I've never read such rubbish.

I travelled over to see my Wrexham supporting mate who now resides in Liverpool the night before the Bristol city game. We had a 'few' beers on the Friday and both woke up with severe hangovers on the Saturday. We therefore decided to go racing rather than the Bristol City game.

If that's not fighting for the cause I don't know what is.

That's the spirit. I hope Wrexham recognise your efforts and name a stand after you if they make it.

They are - they play in the Conference South.

I have no problems Welsh teams play in the English league, just as long as they don't claim to be 'proud to be Welsh'. If they were proud to be Welsh, they would be in the Welsh league.

The same argument goes for the Old Firm, except that they are actually honest about it - we know that neither the clubs nor their fans are proud to be Scottish, which is why there is a significant dearth of Saltires at both Parkhead and Ibrox of a Saturday. Because they don't see themselves as Scottish, they are trying to leave the Scottish league. Fair enough - a bit of honesty is a rare thing in football.

So can we please have Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport and Merthyr Tydfil admitting that they are not proud to be Welsh? Caenarfon Town at least had the decency to rejoin the Welsh league back in 1995.
