Who were the last musical maestro's to persuade you to part with your money?

Single: Monster, The Automatic

Album: Black Holes and Revelations, Muse

Gig, John Cooper Clarke, The Lowry or the Leeds festival

Singles; Kasabian, from their previous album, 'Well Well' by Pink Fairies on vinyl, and 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' by Peter Paul and Mary (folk softies)

Albums by; Muse - cd from 2002, Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream, as it's one of theirs I didn't have before, and 50cd Box set of Best Of Blues - some awesome stuff, many of which I didn't already have on vinyl.

Gig; last night I saw 'Two Choices', another Brighton band that are fun, but won't go far - they favour speed and rollicking fervour above effect of a good song . They have a good drummer though.

Single: Grandaddy - Elevate Myself

Album: reissue of The Triffids - Born Sandy Devotional

Gig: had a ticket for Broken Social Scene in Oxford but decided to spend the Bank Holiday Sunday & Monday on the piss with mates in Hove after the cricket final - evidently it was quite good (the gig and the piss up, I remember nothing of either)
