I actually thought I was in a real ale convention when I turned up at 7pm. Recognised noone, so sat listening into people's conversations, hoping to pick up Albion chat, but all I could hear were people discussing the merits of the beers on offer.

Quite relieved when bumped into a few Albion lads eventually! We need more Virgirlos attending tbh.

Thanks for a great evening in a splendid hostelry - can't think how I've managed to miss out on the only Harvey's pub in London up to now!

As for being a planning"expert" though, complimentary as the description was, I bow to His Lordship in that respect since it's now some while since I escaped and resumed earlier occupations!

Yours truly is the fat one in the corner by the green curtain. My first meeting. Will definitely be joining. Would have been earlier had it not been for South West Trains and their inability to travel above tortoise pace between Clapham Junction and Waterloo. Talk about a real ale lovers' convention. Not surprising, the beer was so good Funny though that the planning inspectors seem in the pictures to be having a much better time than us ODPMers. Perhaps it's working for Prescott
