Agree, swapped my desktop for one over the summer. Haven't looked back since.

I'd probably by a sony vaio - only because most of our other equipment is Sony and its all compatible.

I'm selling 2 IBM thinkpads and a HP pavilion desktop if anyones interested in them for spares....all good stuff just traded up to the Sony VAIO desktop etc...

BeOS 5 and FreeBSD - Sony's have always been best for running other OS's
