What do you think on this as it's from the states, will the power supply work and is it a good laptop or is it a bit shit ?

power supply will work,as your vendor states in his item,laptop PSU's work on any voltage or frequency in the world.
if you are after a cheap laptop bearing in mind the cost of postage for your item consider a dell

Seems too good to be true . . . so it probably is !!

You'll need a new plug and one thing which you will find a real pain compared to a desktop, the keyboard will be a US one and thus not '£' sign for a start. A desktop you could get a UK keyboard but with a US laptop you're pretty much stuck with what you've got. Waste of money.

It doesn't have anywhere near enough ram or processing capability to run Vista properly. It will be incredibly slow.

Using a Toshiba Satellite bought in the States to write this. 1Gb RAM and 100Gb hard drive though.

Thanks chaps tbh I really only want it for storing all my music on, watching dvd's and surfing the net while i'm away.
May just look for a good recon then
