Landlines

I use my landline for important calls or for a service, generally landline to landline use. If I know that I could be in a queue and have to use numerical options the landline suits me best. Mobiles are more about quick messaging for me and more often than not I will just send a text.

Have to have a landline living in Wales, mobile only works when standing on windowsill in lounge.

I'm with Virgin for BBand, TV and Phone. I've often thought about dumping the landline phone, but keep it in case I need to make an emergency call only to find my mobile is out of charge, or it the mobile networks become congested due to some mega-event, e.g. Brighton winning promotion.

I need my landline so those nice people in India can phone me to let me know about the virus on my computer.

I use the landline for the 0800 & 0845 numbers as there free from landline but not from the mobile.

We recently moved house and now have a landline but only for broadband. In our old house, our landline was stolen 3/4 years ago and we didn't miss it.
