In a cave
They are looking at getting maximum batting points (or at least 4) and a draw so that would give them 11 points (10 points if they drop a batting point) and leave it all down to the last game. If they won against hampshire with maximum points we would also need to win.

They will get the runs on the board, then go and slog for the 450 and see if they have enough time to have a 2nd shot at bowling Durham out.

Thank god for yesterdays rain and Durham lasting 134 overs!

A draw and some reasonable bonus points will please Durham

Sussex 220
Lancashire 201

add 10 to Lancashire total = 211. Just 9 behind

We draw last game with max points (12 points)

Sussex 232
Lancashire win with maximum points (22 points) 233 points!

Going to be a great last round of matches. The bonus points could decide it!

yes... and the possibility of being level on total points again at the end is also a live one - in which case we would be champions by 8 wins to 7...!!!

SG Law 43 off of 40 balls...

fine weather forecast for rest of today and tomorrow

surely not even the hapless "dynamos" can lose this one?

201/3

grudgingly it's time to accept the bad news :nono:

fair play to Lancs though - to win the title despite losing all that time to rain will be a great achievement...
