I for one am delighted with this. Gives options at right and left back as well as further forward. Five goals/assists is a good return for someone who is a bit part player.

Not so sure it warrants credit. I merely said that I don't get all the fuss about KWP. Lamptey to me is a decent squad player to have. Agree that he's better going forward than defensively particularly when compared to Veltman for instance, but that gives options at FB. Where KWP beats him is on availability.

That would be ridiculous. Most PL sides play 4-3-3 or a form of which will combat three at the back the majority of the time. See Manure.
So another season of transitioning to a three at the back?

Did well once he got a few games last season. Fairly versatile and never seems to kick up a fuss. Great lad to have in the squad. Pleased he's staying.

Well he’s better than KWP (IMO), but frankly that’s not saying much….
