Premier League transfers: A guide to what every club wants to do this summer
The first of two summer transfer windows is upon us - and there is no better place than Sky Sports to get all the latest transfer news and rumours; this is how each team plans to strengthen ahead of the start of the Premier League seasonwww.skysports.com
"The club have been looking for a new full-back for a while, someone who can cover both left and right positions. They like Kyle Walker-Peters a lot and he is available on a free transfer." Sky Sports
With our record with full back injuries, he'd surely get plenty of game time until HIS inevitable injury!Decent squad player on a free as long as he doesn't expect to play much.
I suppose it depends what we need.Never really been that impressed…..
Now if it was Wann-Bissaka, forgetting he’ll need to be cleaned to remove the Palace stench, I’d sign him.

Wan-Bissaka is undoubtedly one of the best defensive full backs in the division. But he is a few levels below the the underrated Walker-Peters in terms of being an attacking threat:
I get that. But his highlights video is telling in it's complete lack of defensive actions where he is arguably, on par with some like Lamptey or worse.Don’t think so….
Highlights videos across 38 games or sometimes an entire career, in the main should be treated with a pinch of salt IMO.
Think he’s done okay from that perspective for West Ham this year?I get that. But his highlights video is telling in it's complete lack of defensive actions where he is arguably, on par with some like Lamptey or worse.
He is clearly not the greatest defender but if we want an attacking full back, Wan-Bissaka is not a great option at all. He is as bad going forward as he is exceptional at 1-2-1 defending.
From what I've seen of West Ham this season (which is a lot more than usual with the Ferguson loan ramping up my interest), AWB has done very well defensively. In addition, I've been impressed with his positioning. The issue comes when he gets the ball in an attacking position.Think he’s done okay from that perspective for West Ham this year?
To be honest, I don’t think it’s marauding RBs we need, we looked better defensively when Veltman played, if AWB could get up and down now and again, that would be a positive for me.
Which is why AWB would be perfect……From what I've seen of West Ham this season (which is a lot more than usual with the Ferguson loan ramping up my interest), AWB has done very well defensively. However, I'm in agreement with you that the defensive aspect is what we need. A player like Ola Aina would be ideal. Veltman is very solid but has to always be careful when he joins the attack as he does not have the pace to get back and shut down a fast break against us.
Very wistful thinking.Which is why AWB would be perfect……
That said, very much wishful thinking on my part, though perhaps a swap for Enciso?

Livramento ended up at Saints because Chelsea wanted either a buy back clause or a massive sell-on (I forget which) and it made no financial sense for the Albion to agree to that so we told them to jog on. Saints were evidently happy to agree to such clauses.Wasn’t that Livramento ?
