As some on here will know, Shumaira Mheuka's younger brother Kutendah is (at the moment at least) still on Albion's books and is an U-14 this season. Our U-14s competed at the Algarve Cup last weekend and won the tournament, with Kutendah being named Forward of the Tournament and Cash Bradley being named Goalkeeper of the Tournament:-

However, the main purpose for this thread - based upon a comment made by the great man Kemy Agustien on Kutendah/Shim's dad's instagram, it would seem that Kemy's sister is their mother. Does anyone know if that is correct? As an Albion fan it would seem impossible that any of Kemy's genes found their way into two great footballing talents (as well as being a very strange Albion coincidence).

Needs to get his f***ing hair cut.
Apart from that, excellent news.

Does this mean I had this news before you, or have you just been biding your time?

:lolol:

Before today I had no intention of even posting about the tournament or Kutendah's award, but after seeing his dad's instagram page it seemed the most appropriate way to shoe-horn in my desire to find out if Kemy Agustien's sister really is K/S's mother!

It is such a bizarrely random Albion inter-family connection if so.

Feck - I'd not read the last bit.

How stupid do I feel now?

Pretty much as stupid, ie VERY, as I do most of the time.

Yes - that is very strange connection.

My heart sank as soon as I read who is brother is. It feels almost inevitable that we're just acting as his kindergarten until he heads off the same way.

Apparently Kutendah didn't score a goal in the whole tournament. I heard a suggestion he wasn't even OUR best forward, let alone for the tournament as a whole. Perhaps the marketing people at the Algarve Cup just know how to "generate clicks"

Well if he claims that to be the case, you'd hope so  Otherwise a decent story arc for "Days of our Lives" or something.
