Yes, Kuipers should be dropped. He is our No2 and the No1 has done nothing wrong, it's pretty simple.
The judgement of anyone who could describe Henderson's performance against Crewe as "nothing wrong" is, at the very least, worth calling into question.

Kuipers is better than Henderson. He's not perfect, he's not the messiah, but he is a better goalkeeper.

Well, yes, but CKR was a lost cause, to say Hendo is in that category is false.

But as soon as we get an offer we can't refuse, which on past history won't take much, it'll be accepted.

Hendo will be offered more money that what we’re paying and off he goes into the sunset.

I actually think Kuipers is the better keeper at the moment, but by a very slim margin and I feel Henderson will be better in the future. This may sound like a strange logic as I said Hendo should be picked but for me this is a transitional season and its best to give Hendo the experience.

Not at all, a plea for consistency of selection. Hendo had done nothing to deserve being dropped.

In that case Kuipers should've played against Crewe for a little consistancy for those three games. No wonder our defence is all over the place.

Not really, it was fair to give Kuipers a run out against Boston in preparation for Bristol. But the No1 must return now.

Why is he number 1, Kuipers has the shirt and even according to the manager had a good game. So why does Henderson come in? Kuipers had a good game and should keep the shirt until injury or a poor run of form or Henderson does so well in the reserves he should be back in.

Again, your criteria that goalkeepers should be replaced after one supposedly poor game is flawed. It's that kind of fickle selection policy approach that will destroy confidence.

Contradict yourself why don't you.
No contradiction, the Carling Cup can be legitimately used to allow a small number of squad players some game time. Well used in Kuipers' case.

and its this policy that keeps poor players in the team at a detriment to the whole club

this policy has kept hammond, mayo, carpenter, henderson in the team, when we would be better without them

Just like dropping someone after a confidence boosting performance and comments from the manager?

Absolutely spot on. In a nutshell, it really is that simple. How the hell we end up with 7 pages of arguing the toss over this (and on numerous other threads) I'll never know.

Hendo's a poor player now then :nono: Just incredible this mindset among some Brighton fans that makes them want to stick the boot into their own highly talented younger players. Don't think I'll ever get my head round it.

I guess Lynch has better start picking up his game. Maybe he's just a few games off stuff like this too.

So what kind of consistancy would you like?

I would have prefered Kuipers to play against Crewe for consistancy in the team. Not swapping and changing all the time.

But dropping Kuipers having played another good game could be bad for his confidence.
LI, if McGhee did choose to play Kuipers at Millwall, would you then actually say that you thought the Great Manager had made a mistake?
