Whoever is on the best form at the time...

Sadly we have a manager that doesn't pick the form players though, and I'm not just talking about the keeper position.

Come on that save was a point blank reaction save no one would expect any keeper to be able to push that one around the post.

Suprised he even managed to block it.

I thought that to.How can people pass judgement without seeing the goal baffles me

kuipers should go in goal for a good reason if he palms a ball out he palms it to the side.
henderson palms ite in front of the striker

Henderson makes these saves every week but it only gets mentioned IF he pushes the ball out to an opponant - he is the better keeper and McGhee is dead right in playing him above Kuipers. Some people on here should actually watch more of the keepers instead of only noticing them when they make a show stopping save.

As far as Im aware Kuipers the clown was at fault for the Brizzle goal. Surely pushing a shot out to an opposing forward is somethind that should be coached out of a keeper......or does that only count when it's Henderson.

He did well to even save the original shot, it was a brilliant point blank save. Henderson fumbles the easiest of shots from 25 yards out!!!

If Kuipers was at fault for the goal, then Hendo should come back - he's the better keeper, and it doesn't sound like Kuipers has done enough to win his place back.

Kuipers WAS NOT at fault for the goal. FACT.

If blame IS to be apportioned then it should be to El-Abd and Lynch for letting Williams through to get the cross in for the initial shot which Kuipers did BRILLIANTLY to save.

From someone who was there.
There is no doubt he did well to save the first shot but parried it out straight into the path of Brown who made no mistake in putting it past him.

You just have to think, which keeper do you want at the club 18 months from now?

I don't think having two keepers of their standards is sustainable in the long term, if one doesn't play for any length of time, they would be perfectly within their rights to leave, indeed they would have to, they are both good enough for 1st team football.

We should have room for one senior keeper, and one youngster who is good enough to stand in occasionally. Surely one of the younger keepers, Sullivan etc, will be ready for that junior role by next season, so that means we should just choose who we want to be the senior one now and stick with him, and move on the other one either in January or at the end of the season.

I do not think that we should worry about 18 months time as we may well be conference bound by then. Lets us worry about this season and let next season take care of itself when it comes.

You don't plan for the future, that's how you fail in the future.

Why our problems on the pitch must be addressed now. It is of little use saying so and so will be ok in 18 months time as we could well be in the same position in the division but one division lower by then.

which Kuipers did BRILLIANTLY to save.

Which is what Hendo does week in week out. Difference is Kuipers gets praised for it Hendo gets flamed for it. As a keeper I watch the keepers, and to be honest they are both good at their job, BUT Kuipers isn't in the same league as Henderson. If he was that good he would of gone on loan to a decent club not bloody Boston!!!

Take off those rose tinted specs and think about it without bias.
