Interesting to see Naylor slate the fans who've 'forced Henderson out'

I want some of the Kuipers fans on here to give Hendo a bit more respect he deserves.

Henderson IS the better keeper, but he has only become shit because the fans intimidate him with 'Kuipers Kuipers No. 1'

It's not fair on the guy, and I hope he does reconsider and stay because there are a lot of players who appeciate Wayne.

Sorry, I couldn't resist, but even I cannot critisise Kuipers that much, because on the basis of his performances he has been consistent.

But I just think there is a bit of arse licking going on with Kuipers. Someone said the other day, 'if he has handed in a request, he can go, we don't want him here'.

Well, why didn't they want Kuipers to go when he wanted a request? I just think you are all being very unfair on Wayne.

Because that never happened. Kuipers ALWAYS wanted to play for this club.

I made a remark similar to the one you said about, nothing to do with Henderson's ability as a keeper, at his best he IS better than Kuipers, but he hasn't produced it consistently since signing permanently. On form and with Deano using the "keep the shirt" policy Kuipers deserved to be in goal, and if Henderson is going to throw a strop if he's left out for ONE GAME, then he can piss off.

Bullshit.

Any player who "becomes shit" as a result of fans chanting, as you suggest here, is in the wrong game to start off with. If a person in this kind of environment can't deal with abuse that comes their way, then perhaps a career which has no contact with the public might be a better fit.

In any case, I can't imagine, even as a stauch Kuipers fan, how that would realistically apply to Wayne Henderson.

Kuipers has been great for us, and Hendo is a great keeper as well.


However I met Michel today, as one of the few players who made it to the demo, and he was very pleasant and took the time to shake all our hands, sign stuff and pose for photos etc, so at the moment he gets my vote.
