The team is....

Kuipers, Rents, Lynch, G Elphick, Breach, Cox, Nicolas, Turienzo, Frutos

subs.- Fraser, Chaigneau, Carey, Gatting

Looks as though Chippy isn't fit yet or Dodd.

Not really if he cant catch, crosses, kick, talk to defence, be quick of his line or judge angles

pathetic  the guy is playing his 1st game for nearly a year, it's good news live with it

and why is my opion pathetic?

Not your opinion, the sarcastic "not really" to Dougals assertion that it's amazing news that Kuipers will be playing for the reserves followed by an OTT knock about his abilities.

whoops missed the typeo.

You mean he iyo is a good shot stopper but not a good all round keeper.

Id say he has improved his kicking and crossing but there is work still to be done there.

Id pick Henderson, Kuipers then Blayney

KG, He's that bad that he managed to keep your Premiersh1te lot at bay for most of a January afternoon.:p

His kicking is not the best but had significantly improved in the 12 months prior to his injury, he at least comes for crosses and get most of them and the defence seem to be more at ease with him.

I have my doubts about whether he can recapture his form after such an injury but if he can I still think he's the best we've got.

El Abd and Robinson.

Interesting that Jake and Frutos both play tonight - probably the bench for them on Saturday.

You’ve obviously never LISTENED to him during a game then. He talks to his defence as if he were playing like a sweeper. Always telling them when players are behind them, making runs, etc...

Speaking of quick of the line, did any on see Southall in the match sunday?

It's a long time since I have seen him play but I'm sure the only one of those he was weak at was kicking.

Exactly, I can never remember Kuipers being bad with crosses. In fact the only critisism has always been his distribution.

I think if he had been a decent kicker (and not had at least one longish injury a year) he would have gone on to be more.

However I have been impressed with what Henderson has brought to the team and would not be unhappy if he kept Kuipers out of the side.
