Difficult to decide

Kuipers has more clean sheets, is a fantastic shotstopper and reflexes

Roberts seems to have more command over the defence and can distribute better

It would be great if we could put them in a bag and shake them up to get one world class keeper between them :lolol:

I have to say though, I think that Michel would have done what Ben tried today for their goal!

And pulled it off.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why Kuipers poor kicking should mean we drop him. It's far from the most important part of the job, and IMHO below,

shot stopping
handling
decision making
taking crosses
organising the defence in front of him,

all of which he does very well. So he can't always kick straight, I'm not sure I'm that bothered. To me it would be like dropping a full back because he takes a poor throw in.

Torn between the two - Roberts edges it but hopefully last clowning around.

Deffo Roberts - only made 2 mistakes (one cost us a goal).

Sorry BrightonBird, but over how many games has he only made 2 mistakes? I reckon it's a poor ratio, and I seem to think he's made more than that but got away with most of them. I seem to shat myself 3 or 4 times a game when he's played.

I agree with Brightonbird. Definitely Roberts. Its unfair to slate him for the mistake that cost us the goal. Other than that, I thought his performance was fine. Kuipers has made more mistakes than that recently. Roberts' kicking and distribution is much better.

I often hear Michel shouting at the defence BB

I dont think Roberts looked at all comfortable tonight, he looks panicky(is that a word?) when he has the ball. Yes his distrubution is much better than FDM but on gifting that pathetic goal tonight the reserves is the only place for him at the moment. If that was a league game he would have cost us two points.

I prefer Kuipers.

I rate Roberts but I thought he was crap today. And not only for :jester: ing around for the goal.

Ok, but when Kuipers is in goal, I always feel on edge. When Roberts is in goal, I don't. Yes he did a silly mistake, but is it better then going out too early like Kuipers and conceding goals?

My heart says Kuipers (he is the FDM chef) but my head says Roberts (and he has lurvly eyes)!

Don't quite understand the logic there Rambo.

Watford away last season, basic error by Kuipers - ball bounces of chest and goal conceded.

Lost the game but Kuipers not dropped.
