Booker Dismisses Kuipers Move Talk

Brighton assistant manager Bob Booker insists reports linking goalkeeper Michel Kuipers with a return to Hull City are merely speculation.

Kuipers joined Hull on loan in August but played just three games before being recalled by the Seagulls.

Kuipers is facing a battle with Ben Roberts for the number one jersey at the Withdean Stadium and is reported to favour a departure.

But Booker said: "It's all speculation at the moment. I've seen it reported on Teletext and in the papers but that's all we know about it."

"So how does McGhee keep Roberts in the side after his "look at mne I'm Andy Petterson" howler against Forest Green"

McGhee did not KEEP Roberts in the team. He was put into the team after Kuipers well and truely blew his chance at Lincoln. McGhee can only go by what he's seen - and unfortunately both keepers have been crap, although (since MM has been here at least) Kuipers has been worse.

Having said that I hope Kuipers stays as I do have concerns about Roberts' back.
