Sidcup I dispute what you say. I have never heard Krispies swear at other fans for not joining in.

He may swear at people he knows in a joking kind of way but he is not abusive

Yorkie, I must back Sidcup on this one. He did seem in rather strange form on that day, and it was a few incidents. The swearing wasn't particularly aggressive, but every so often he would shout out (not at anyone in particular), "Come on, am I the only one f***ing singing here?"

He certainly did upset the little group around him, and they certainly moved away because of him.

The bit that surprised me was when Colchester started singing, "... by far the greatest team, the World has ever seen." Krispies erupted into a tirade, of "You fcuking what? Better than Real Madrid, better than Brazil 70 etc .." Easy there Krispies, we all sing that rubbish, none of us ever believe it.

He just seemed more off his rocker than usual that day. Majority of the time I like the fella, but that was the first time in years I've been next to him for a match, and I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Have never spoken to the guy, but like Pete Canning, he falls into the 100% Albion but tone deaf category. Anyone that makes an effort should be applauded not derided.

After all, if you can do better yourself, why not start a song or two........

"Let's all do the Krispies, let's all do the Krispies, la la la la, la la la la".

Absolute legend, and these threads do seem to appear quite regularly. I think we should stand him next to byf at Lincoln, and watch byf cry into his burberry baseball cap;)

Yorkie - He called us "a bunch of w@nkers" at Leicester last season when people weren't joining in with him. By the way, thanks for letting us know about getting free text messages on Virgin.
Dunkstar - he is about 5ft 6, bald on top with tight, curly (gingerish) hair, a few teeth, glasses ... need I say more?

Ok Sidcup

Leicester was strange because the stewards insisted on everybody sitting exactly where their tickets said.

So instead of all the singers being able to sit together, we were all over the place.

We were right down near the front and only got to say hello to friends at half time.

It was difficult to get the songs going then. I suppose it was frustration more than anything because loud support does make a difference and we were running out of time to avoid relegation.

Sorry to doubt you

Good idea....he starts singing it to my left, fatty taxman hears it and joins in to my right.

Between them they sound like a train crash on one of those 'stereo sound effects' cd's:eek:

I know exactly how you feel. 14 months away from Brighton and I can still hear it now

This is true, but it was a strange day. It was right near the end of the game. It had gone a bit quiet but only because evryone had been singing for the whole game and was emotionally drained. I think Krispies was just frustrated and knew really that most of the crowd had given it their all.
