KP stirring things up...

Having looked the match up. England were chasing 557 to win, and at the start of the day England were 265/5 with KP and Flintoff at the crease. Flintoff tried to smash the Aussies around and was out shortly after the start of play, leaving KP with the tail. Given that he faced 150 balls in his innings it seems a bit extreme to claim that he was trying to get his fellow team mates out.

Further analysis shows that of the tail, Geraint Jones was run out, and Harmison was out first ball, so I don't see how KP is responsible for both of these.

This was the tour when England captain Flintoff turned up to matches and net sessions drunk. Yet he is seen as a lovable oaf.

I would always put a drunken lovable oaf before a sober despised oaf.

Amazing, how England's team spirit has seemed absolutely buoyant during this series. Can't think why it's improved.

Again, it all comes back to Graeme Norton, of all people. Team sports just aren't some people's thing. Good riddance.
