The US, Canada, Japan, Britain and the EU is a fairly large chunk of the influential world to be fair. I don't agree with those countries but to say they're accepted not as a terrorist group globally is a bit of a stretch

Its not a stretch - its verifiably true. In terms pure numbers its not even close including a number of ''influential'' countries (definition needed) - 170 including China, the whole of Africa, the whole of South America (bar Paraguay), Russia and the whole of Asia (bar Japan).

As I said, I am still trying to get my head around it all.
Would you be trying to get your head around it all if it was a right wing act shouting support for the KKK & publicising David Duke's book on their social media (in which he described black people as pigs & devils? Then calling to kill left wing MPs? (I'm on the left, btw, just finding this all bizarre)

A good point. I try and view/judge these situations by the person and not just the words. There’s lots of right wing people and politicians who I think are decent people, I might not agree with them but feel their politics come from a good place. Equally there’s a lot who I feel don’t. Same with the left. I think I’d struggle to square the circle with support for the KKK and a good well meaning person though.

But explicit support for Hamas & Hezbollah, who've recently massacred, raped & tortured has you 'getting your head around it'.
Do you not see the screaming contradiction?

They were stupid to wave the flags and chant their support etc. I don’t agree with them doing this and feel it distracts from the, and their, message. I also don’t feel they actually fully support Hamas etc. I’m sure they support their objective but not their means.

When I say trying to get my head around this, it’s mainly different countries and cultures. Some Irish people are vehemently pro Palestine due to the similarities with their own country. Germany is very pro-Israel to the point where academic discussion on Palestine is sometimes shutdown and left-leaning friends have support for Iseal I cannot reconcile with the person.

So no, trying to understand this isn’t a contradiction.
