The Irish akin the treatment of Palestinian by Israel to their struggles with the British.
I don’t know where to start with that one.

You are familiar with The Great Hunger? I know we laughably call it the potato famine and blame it on potato blight in this country.
Plus you know, stealing the land and putting immigrants on it.

It's probably not the best of times to be publicly calling for the murder of MPs. Not with the firebomb attacks on Starmer AND the 31 month in jail precedent for Mrs. Connolly.

As I said, don't go all Tommy Robinson on us.
As I said to you, try and engage that gaping void of your brain to say something other than cheap idiotic remarks. I’ve been on numerous counter demonstrations to Robinson’s fascist street activists, have you internet loudmouth?

The real story here is we have a political climate in this country that is criminalising free speech as terrorism. Liberals should be up in arms about this but so-called moderates or centrists are now the very last people in this country to defend civil liberties.

It’s not just the Kneecap guy, the protesters engaged in non violent disobedience against U.K arms factories sending arms to kill Palestinian kids are also being charged with anti terrorist offences. That woman who held up a sign calling Sunak a coconut was charged with a criminal offence. The police and CPS are all at sea at the moment criminalising political activity that you just don’t happen to agree with. As in the Niemoller poem, as they are not coming for you, you don’t care

Typical London Irish, lazily construct a counter argument against one that never existed.

Assume someone else's beliefs to amplify your own. Pollute with whataboutism, shock jock tabloid opinion journalism at its worst.

Get a job with the Mail, it's your natural home.

Yep I’m the one toeing the Mail line when you’ll agree with everything they print tomorrow on this issue of Kneecap.

As for your word salad of cliches, do you ever actually think through the implications of this massive overreach of state power we are now seeing?

I don’t particularly object overmuch to your plain vanilla politics, more to the fact that you are so bloody lazy in thinking about what any of this might mean

Just far enough away from LDC
I've read this thread and on the one hand I'm disappointed with @London Irish for his tone

And on the other that nobody else has played the Sean Daish literal

Morphing into Tony Parsons ?

you may have a point....
Tony Parsons and you would agree on Kneecap. Keep going in trying to find one of your supposed bete noirs who wouldn’t

Tone policing from glib centrists I’m perfectly fine with, plenty experience of it. Oppressive policing from the state cracking down on free speech and civil liberties, not so much
