For those who haven't yet twigged this rumour is a complete fabrication on my part.

Please feel free to continue discussing the the relative merits of taking Mr Kitson on a pay-as-you-play basis, however.

Oh you tease

He sat on his fat arse for 9 months sponging £ 5000 a week from the club, hated the fans, was a lazy bastard and had a bad prima donna attitude. How long can the man live off " did you know I once scored a hattrick in the premiership ?. "

Being injured isn't the same as being shit. Maybe he was shit for us in terms of what we got, but he was a good player nonetheless

I always thought he was quite good.

Anyone on here ever thought that he might have actually been unlucky with injuries as opposed to "lazy"?

I feel I must stick my head over the parapet here and state that I thought he was unlucky when he was with us, and is a class player. Anyone offering him anything other than a pay when played contract is taking a big risk considering his history, though.

I do not think anybody doubts his ability it was his attitude and the fact that he earn't in 1 season what the average man,us supporters who contribute towards it, earns in 8 - 10 years.

Played sh**te 90% of the time for us, took the p*** with the money , took the pi** out the fans , scored at Reading was the only notable contribution. Would never be welcomed back......What a waste a money , what a waste of money

In that order ...

No he didn't - he was a class above most of our team when he played, even when half-fit, and was forced to play with partners who now turn out for Weymouth and Crawley

Who offered him the money? £2000 a week is hardly a lot by his previous standards, what was he doing wrong?

How precisely? By playing and scoring despite being booed when he came on?

Bollocks!

I think the problem with Kitson is that he was not fit and therefore it was a f*** up by DK and Hinshelwood to bring him in. The result of him being unfit or injured was that the fans turned on him becasue we desperatley neeed someone of his calibre out on the pitch, not on the bench, and as a result of the abuse he got he hardly warmed to the supporters.

When he played he looked good, Watford at home anyone?

when he came to the club everyone on here thought it was a good signing everyone.
so it turned out wrong not the players fault?
t
he reason he got injuried while warming up was because he was rushed back.
surely blackwell is taking the piss as well then?

I never saw the bloke jump for the ball and he showed a complete lack of effort . . . . therefore as a striker I am calling him sh**te. As for being a class above the rest of the team.....never on your nellie !!!!

I actually felt sorry for Kitson

He came to the club with an injury...it wasn't his fault that we were so stupid as to actually add him to the payroll, when he came into the side he did OK, but he was playing in a pretty poor side and didn't really get any service anyway...then on top of that the crowd got on his back.....I don't think I would have put up with it.

Actually we have a history of buying injured players....Rodgers? Blackwell?
