What? Not even when Campbell returns?

If he loses his place, what does it say? That someone can come in and be utter class immediately, but loses their place because of their lesser reputation - how do we progress? Ferdinand and Campbell should have to win their places back, and even if they do, King has proved to be the better defender than John Terry, who has struggled at this level.

Yeah, I agree with you in a way.............but, Sol Campbell has to play. We must be able to pick the better players. And Campbell is quite obviously a better player than King.

I would go with three at the back anyway, but Sven´s never going to go with that. I´m not sure Campbell´s that much better than King, I think they´d go well together.

Shoreham of course
We have Ferdinand to return from suspension, Campbell, Woodgate and Southgate all to return from injury, Terry and King improving slowly. I think we are well equiped for Center Backs.

Cos we've got Ledley at the back

Actually, can't argue with the Judas :censored: coming back into the England side when fit, but but think Ledley has the potential to be a better ball-playing centre-back. RSol is a terrific stopper, though, no question. . .
Hmm, what a pairing that could have been at the Lane. . .
