If he loses his place, what does it say? That someone can come in and be utter class immediately, but loses their place because of their lesser reputation - how do we progress? Ferdinand and Campbell should have to win their places back, and even if they do, King has proved to be the better defender than John Terry, who has struggled at this level.

Yeah, I agree with you in a way.............but, Sol Campbell has to play. We must be able to pick the better players. And Campbell is quite obviously a better player than King.

Actually, can't argue with the Judas coming back into the England side when fit, but but think Ledley has the potential to be a better ball-playing centre-back. RSol is a terrific stopper, though, no question. . .
