As a West Ham fan who lives in the Brighton area and has watched BHA home and away since 1976 and used to be a season ticket holder at the Goldstone, I was elated when Bobby "came home" to the Boleyn :clap2:

But, he has been inconsistant, lazy and pretty useless since he joined us. Ok so he's scored a couple of goals. A lot of the fans are now reffering to him as "golden bollox" as Pardew seems to play him however bad he's performing (Reading on Sat !!!). Many supporters are now resenting him being at the club.

What are your opinions (i know, he could do nothing wrong as a seagull)

He often appears to look lazy but that is just his style. He does not go crashing into challenges or darting about the pitch. He is an elegant player, I cannot believe that he is getting slagged off, his goal record at W ham is not too bad is it ??

I'd have him back tomorrow, in fact the more I hear he is awful for other clubs, the better for us

This sounds like a Peter ward scenario here. ie shite for everyone else and brilliant for us.

Come Back Bob!!!

The thing about the 'big clubs' (tongue in cheek). Is that they don't know a good thing when they've got it.. Which is fine with me, we'd have him back in a heartbeat.

So the "He came from White Hart Lane, he's better than Jermaine" chant has presumably been put out to pasture then. Must admit I thought WHU was a good move for him and it is still early days.

I support West Ham with my heart...but i follow the seagulls too being a local club. I've probably been going to the Goldstone far longer than most of you plus i've been to a lot of Albion away games. However, next season when BHA entertain the hammers, there's only one team for me and they play in claret and blue....you'll probably beat us though.

As for Bobby, i think he was bigged up too much as the answer to auto promotion. He's come into a very average side who do not deserve to be where we are.
I hope and prey he comes good cos i've a lot of time for him.

Surely it's far too early to be writing off Bobby.Perhaps the Hammers fans are expecting too much-give him time and he will deliver. And if he doesn't we'll take him on a season-long loan:lolol:
