I've been trying to think of a better film than Kill Bill and have come to the conclusion that is one of the best films i have ever seen, including Cool Runnings. It's a f***ing masterpiece and I literally cannot wait to see the next one. The soundtrack is exceptional as well. If you haven't seen it yet you gotta get your ass in gear.

Also, Uma Therman is f***ing gorgeous.

Saw Kill Bill last night - very good, complete with gratuitous bloodshed and thumping soundtrack....

I reckon if they edited the posing the film would be about 20 mins long!!

If nothing else - the film is like nothing else Ive ever seen before, and therefore well worth a couple of quid!

CTS - when's part 2 out?

Aaah Faldo, that's better.

I think Part 2 is out quite early on next year as its already complete i think (they were going to release it as one).

The bit where it turns into animation is quality.

The anime bit was class, but did go on a bit.

I walked home after wondering if blood would spray out like that if you decapitated someone.... Me? easily influenced?

I liked the sword fight in silhouette and then the fight in the snow (with no-one moving as the music got louder).

Gets the Faldo seal of approval!

Nice!

Just remembered the way the characters flick their swords to get the blood off.......

Obsessed much?!

I was pleasantly surprised with the way Lucy Liu played her character, very good.

Uma looks mazing in it too, especailly when she goes to the bar to get that qualla sword.

It's good chapmans, but as a stand alone piece, it's too early too judge, I would say there's slightly too much style over content though. The best film I have seen this year is mystic river.

Saw it in Sydney a couple of weeks ago whilst on my hols. Have to say I was mightily impressed though I'm a Tarintino fan. Wonderful dialogue and soundtrack as ever, very simple revenge plot, plenty of blood, great choreography, and yes the anime is great and very accurate. Also if you've ever visited Japan you'll find the argument between the sword maker and his junior over who fetches the drinks even funnier. I even understood some of the Japanese without the subtitles, I must be getting better

Best film I've seen this year though? Can't beat The Quiet American I'm afraid.

And finding nemo of course

Tis a fair point - Tarantino does try too hard at times to be cool! But, I do think he's pulled it off!

Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu looked tres foxy - and I found Darryl Hannah looking extremely tasty, in a frighteningly psychotic kind've way...

One bit of the film that really annoyed me was the chinese band playing with the drummer singing "oooh, oooh, oooh" (or something) over and over again for what felt like about 20 minutes!

Got right on my t!ts!

Chappers - the reviews have been very mixed and my colleague here said it was absolute pony and trap. I think Tarantino is generally overrated and he has too many film school student clever tricks.

Pulp Fiction was an excellent film, 100 times better than the grossly overrated Reservoir Dogs.

Director have their masterpieces Spielbergs Schindlers List and Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. I doubt if Tarantino will ever match that film again.

I will wait for the dvd.

Saw it last night at Dukes and it was tree-mend. Dead stylish and funny to boot. Loving the blood spurting out like a fountain, best film I've seen in time!
