yes it is under 10s only
That always annoys me. Like I'm going to send my 11 year old son out to work to pay for his own ticket.

Still, my sons's at a party and my daughter is back at Uni so it's a cheap night for me!

Why? Even 200 kids at a pound each helps the coffers a bit.

But will you get 200 extra kids for a Friday night game against Millwall especially if their parents are paying full price?

When I was younger Crystal Palace used to give our football club 250 free tickets to Selhurst for the games they knew there would be empty seats for.

As a result loads of kids went, bought a burger, a programme, some chips and lots went on to be Palace fans because for many it was the first proper match they had been to.

I know there is some argument about the £3 or so cost of the travel section of the ticket causing problems in giving them away for free but surely they can sort something out.

Years and years of lost generations of fans and thousands of empty seats each game.

Why not just give away a couple of hundred tickets to local schools and hope a few of the kids who come pester their parents to bring them back for the next game.

They should be GIVING a couple of hundred away FREE to schoolkids every game.

For once I agree wholeheartedly with Richie here. Since we've been at Withdean the restrictions like not being able to pay on the day not to mention the prices have put many people off and within that a lot of parents have lost interest. It would be a good idea to encourage youngsters to come to try and get involved and free tickets would be a good start. After all, it's surely better that seats that would be mainly empty isn't it ?

there are many ways of generating money while creating good deals for the supporter. How about doing a more family deal with 1 paying adult being able to take 3 kids for £3 each. would easily get a dad taking his kid(s) and friends. good way to get friends talking about it at school or getting kids along whose parents don't want to go
