I am delighted he has gone to be honest. Never lived up to expectations. Had a great chance to impress Gus and the fans this season and didn't take it.

I don't think we will be fighting relegation for too much longer so not really bothered him going to Wycombe. He will be joining the old boys Revell and Hinshelwood.

on the wycombe forum someone has just described McCleod as a pacy left winger....???

Surely they must be talking about someone else.

I remember all the Colchester fans saying similar things to us when we signed him from them. As much as I hate to say it they were right. He's basically been injured since we had him, and I won't be losing any sleep over his departure (neither will he at a guess).

Try and think of 10 things you will miss about Mcleod? Ok 3? OK 1?

i'll miss seeing him in the sportsmen having a carvery.. especially when he pays for 5 of them at the till then turns round to shout across at the pub at jim mcnulty to see if he wants one... other then that i wont miss him.

Maybe it should have been be "used to be a pacy left winger" or he is a pastey left winger?

I'll miss him sitting in the stand at away games & seeing him (out the corner of my eye) playing with his phone for 90 minutes.

Spent a very pleasant evening in his company last year, nice bloke.

Clearly didn't work out for him here, but all the best to him as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't heard it myself, but on the 606 boards

BBC - 606 - - A62675120 - Kevin McLeod

They have this:

Just watched the interview with him on Wanderers World and he seems very honest and straight to the point. "You have a better squad than Brighton, better ground, better fans and there will be no problem in staying up. 2 wins and your out of the relegation zone". Brilliant.

For those that havent seen him, he describes himself as an attacking midfielder wide left, who likes to get balls into the box and pop up at the backstick and get a few goals.

I guess he has to talk up his new club, but maybe that was a trifle harsh? Although I guess he must be upset that it never worked out for him here...

Does he really say that I wonder? Seems as players leave (well McLeod and G.Smith) we are starting to get rid of the ones with (for whatever reason) the bad attitudes. Just get shot of Livermore and I reckon the squad bonding will come along nicely.

prior to Falmer and based on the regular postings on NSC, what is untrue in this above statement?

Obviously the ground is better. But I am sorry they obviously don't have a better squad than us. Three of their players are ones let go by us and we stuffed them 5-2 last time we played them!

Livermore will go but he strikes me as far too quiet to be a bad influence. McLeod was a stereotypical liverpudlian wide boy who definitely would not fit in too poyets plans
