Kent 44/0 although David Fulton has retired hurt. What a shame.
They lead by 239 runs. Am i correct in thinking they have not forced the follow on or was it changed to a 200 lead in county cricket before you could force it?
As far as I know I think its still 150 for county cricket isn't it? However, could be wrong.
If so, makes it a strange decision given that the bowlers would have had the overnight to recover.
My theory would be that it is still a good pitch (just that Sussex started badly and couldn't recover) and that they feared someone like Mushy if we got say anohter 350 and set them 150 to win on the last day on a wearing pitch.
So Kent can control it from here, score about 250-300 and bat Sussex out of the game.
