Kember hits out at Akinbiyi
Akinbiyi has scored just three goals for Palace
Crystal Palace manager Steve Kember has questioned striker Ade Akinbiyi's ambition.
Akinbiyi is on the transfer list at Selhurst Park after struggling to live up to his £2.2m transfer fee since arriving from Leicester in February 2002.
The 28-year-old spent some time on loan to Stoke but his high wages are making a move from Palace unlikely and Akinbiyi seems content to bide his time in the reserves.
Kember said: "To a certain extent I think it's down to the player showing people he still wants to play football.
"You've got weigh up the financial implications for yourself but your football career isn't that long and there comes a time when you have decide whether you want to play or not.
"That's down to each player's personal ambition."
