I have not seen either of the young keepers but has one done another to be a back up to kuipers or will mcghee be looking to bring someone in?

Chris May was never going to make it will either of these two?

I think they both have looked promising, Martin pulled off a good save at Le Havre and Sullivan has (other than one of the goals yesterday) generally communicated well with the defence. However they do look raw and it is a risk going into the season with just these two of back up. At the end of the day competition is needed for every place in the squad and over the last 4 seasons Kuipers has missed sizeable chunks of them due to injury, so you cannot rely on him having an injury free season.

Big risk not having an experienced keeper.
It was no coincidence that results got worse when Kuipers got injured last year . I expect McGhee will look to short term loan until September or until Kuipers can play again

I think they are both good prospects for the future but just don't have enough experience. I saw Sullivan at Worthing and he did well, he was loud and supportive, he even kept a clean sheet as he came off at half time.

So Martin let in all three?

Speroni on loan may help you. Who would you say is the best keeper in the CCC. KIRALY must be top 2.:clap2:

Neither are good enough - yet. Martin looks a good shot-stopper, Sullivan a bit more commanding of his area but both would be exposed very quickly in the Championship.

I'd be very surprised if we didn't get a loan keeper if FDM doesn't make it.

An experienced keeper should be TOP of MM's shopping list, IMHO... been saying this for ages... would love to see Blayney back here...

If he was slightly less injury-prone and could improve his distribution, Kuipers would be in the Premiership. Last season he was outstanding until he got injured:clap2:

id say kiraly is in top 4 - niemi, green, smith and then him

whether niemi and green start the season at their clubs though is a completely different matter

Sullivan looked alright at Worthing and could probably warm the bench but we need someone experienced.
