I think it should be kept, agree with Bozza about exercising self control and not posting just for the sake of boosting post count. I may have been guilty of this in the past.

Cant see what difference it makes to anybody having it there and its good to be able to see who are old timers and who are newbies and wind up merchants!!

Why not keep the levels of count (Steve Foster, Brian Horton, John Crumplin etc) but lose the count ?

That way you can see new posters, old farts etc but not get hung up on counts
