Blimey! Not often heard a band so custom-built to go straight from playing toilets to playing stadiums. Not what you'd call a DISTINCTIVE sound as such, but loads of nods in there to some of the better bits of Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, Oasis, JAMC. Nothing to dislike in there, sound like they'd be cracking live. Can see them overtaking Franz Ferdinand in the fast lane. Any opinions?

Yep - I bought this Album the other day and was well impressed. Along with The Killers it's one of the better albums out this year.

Listened to the album this morning. Not that impressed. AND they have that stupid copy protection thing on the CD that means I cant put it on my ipod (partly due to drastically underpowered pc)

I thought they were a bit like a darker zero 7, with a touch of Cooper Temple Clause -both of which are much better.

Thought it was pretty neat the way they've got the audio CD on one side of the disc and 45 minutes worth of DVD on the other side. Not seen that done before.

You wanna be careful, Albion Dan will accuse you of not listening to the album because your opinion doesn't agree with his and that must mean you've not listened to it. :jester:

It's been in the car since Friday and tracks 6 and 10 get more visits than the rest of the album.

agree with Tom Hark 'bout the borrowed sounds from Stone Roses etc.
