Day Three:

Yesterday's surprise goal less draw between sweden and trinadid, prevented a profitable day for kaney, England's inability to attack in the second half and Sven's mcghee like tactics cost me the opportunity to cash in on a realistic 2-0 scoreline.

However England did win and as the own goal voided the FGS bet losses were minimal.

England's performance didn't fill many people with hope, but there were a few individual performances that leave me in confidence. Beckham and Joe Cole were outstanding again, and Robinson looks like he won't be beaten. Lampard had a super game and was unlucky not to score. Rio played immensely and if it wasn't for him Terry may have cost us 2 valuable points.

Betting:

I will again get on the no upset treble, including netherlands, mexico and portugal to beat their respective opponents, odds of 4.3 are not too short.

Netherlands v Serbia
1st half to have more goals than the second is overpriced at 3.5

Mexico v Iran
Get on Mexico/Mexico HT/FT @ 2.82

Portugal v Angola
Portugal - 1.5 @ 2.06

Summary
£3 Netherlands/Mexico/Portugal treble
£2 First Half More Goals, Netherlands v Serbia
£2.50 Mexico/Mexico HT/FT
£2.50 Portugal -1.5 Asian Handicap

Current Betting Balance: -£26 (Includes £20 of Bets)

Day Four:

Day three was not too bad, coming out up across the four bets with the treble coming in as anticipated. Day four suggests closer games than before and the first two could really go either way!

Austrailia v Japan

Japan were under-rated in their home country four years ago and although australia have the better players on paper don't think the asians should be written off, I believe a first half lead will be cancelled out by the jappo's in the second half and have therefore got on Austrailia/Draw in the HT/FT market, 31/2!

USA v Czech Republic

Czech's come into this off the back of an excellent Euro's in portugal and look strong with Nedved, Baros and of course Cech. 2-1 CR is overpriced at 17.5 and £2 has been placed.
Landon Donovan has been scoring lately for the USA and has one in each of his last 3 games, being a forward he is overpriced at 15/1 to score first and £2 is also placed on Landon.

Italy v Ghana

Suspected non-event and kaney's largest bet of the tournement is on an Italian win, £25 in order to qualify at blue sq for another £25 free bet which was subsequently placed on an Italian/Brazillian double paying £15 and £30 profits respectively!

Summary (Day 4)

£2 Aus/Draw @ 16.5
£2 Czech 2-1 @ 17.5
£2 L Donovan FGS @ 16
£25 Italy to Win @ 4/7
£25 (Free Bet) Italy/Brazil Double @ 6/5

Current Betting Balance: -£5.87 - (£41 worth of bets)

C'mon Italy

while i need Italy to finish 1st in the group, i'd laugh if Ghana equalised in the last minute

due to unpopular response the tipping thread ended shortly after the tournament began, however I can say that you have lost out, as in total I ended the World Cup £219.79 in profit. Making a total of 76 bets :clap2:

Yeah but no but....

Ecuador have won just once (in the last four years) in a competitive match away from their home-altitude enhanced stadium.

That was away to Bolivia.....which is even higher than Ecuador's.

Poland to win tonight.
In fact Ecuador may go home with three losses.

This guy did well!
