As for being a tad embarrassed about Kaney being banned I had nothing to do with that whatsoever, his usual dribble was nothing out of the ordinary as he always seems to go out of his way to have a go at me or Tank. I thought his thread was more insulting to others than to me.

I think you've missed my point race. I wasn't suggesting you had anything to do with the banning. I was trying to put myself in your shoes. It's fact that you get more response to your posts because of who you are. People want to know what Guy thinks so ask you, if you weren't his partner they wouldn't bother. I go to a lot of gigs and often make an effort to speak to band members or people they are with whereas if they were joe public I probably wouldn't bother. Why? Not because I'm a psychophant but because I want to hear what they have to say and have the opportunity of telling them what I think. That's the double-edged sword I was referring to; you get good attention you wouldn't get otherwise and bad attention too. I'd be lying if I said I don't look out for your posts sometimes and respond to them perhaps hoping that Mr.Bummers might get to hear what I have to say (and maybe make him laugh on occassions). I can't be the only one can I? Does that make me pathetic? I don't think so.

And as for the 'warm glow' bit I know how that feels too. I was a bit of a face in the local music scene in the 90's. No great shakes but got to be around a lot of pretty famous people and have people speak to me and be nice because of it (including some fabulous blow jobs).
