God,takes me back years, used to play footie on the green with Justin and his brother and Jimmy skids and his little brother stink bomb dozzer andrews,

Anyone recall Steve Foster trying to get sent off against Notts County in 1983 as the ban for the sending off would enable him to play in the Cup Final, which he would miss as he had a pending suspension for reaching 20 points.

He did absolutely everything that day bar hitting someone to engineer a dismisal except that the ref wasn't playing ball.

yes, I remember that... strange to think that these days a player would have no trouble getting sent off - could easily engineer yourself to be the last defender, let the attacker get the wrong side and then pull him back...

Charlie Oatway: Right-back - Justin Gregory: "Justin has the worst hair in the squad and we let him know that, it's truly awful. He's one of the most honest people you could meet and is fully committed to the cause. Away from football he's at college training to be a physio."

The FA actually turned this into a TWO MATCH ban, as they also said he wasn't allowed to play in the re-arranged game with Thurrock either (although it was abandoned anyway).

Bunch of WANKERS if you ask me.

Quality wasn't it......it was a close call between that and "he's actually 34" .............both pretty spectacular!

Glad to be on here...... coaching over in the states I've missed that type of comeback !

Wherabouts in the states do you coach, Dale? Anywhere near Detroit?

He has forgotten about the previous 4 yellow cards he picked up. There is always one sob story every FA Cup season. Tough bollocks he totted up 5 cards so can't play. Tiny Cox missed Wet Sham last season beacuse of the totting up proceedure, but to be fair he misses a few games because of this (Leeds this season).

TOSSER, couldn't be arsed, couldn't be relied on to be available and never ever paid his subs. Saying that, he struggled to get in our side, The Neville Barmy Army

Know some of the Neville lot well. Biggest non league "firm" turn out according to folk law!!
