Dear Mr Donaghue

We are in receipt of your communication.

Whilst appreciating how frustrating the situation is, other than assuring you that The League does not wish to lose any club and continues to maintain a dialogue with Wrexham, there is nothing further we can add.

Thank you for contacting The Football League.

Dear Mr Donaghue

We are in receipt of your communication.

Whilst appreciating how frustrating the situation is, we can't really be arsed to do anything about it. Lets face it, we're only talking about Wrexham, its not like its Leeds or Wolves, or someone like that, is it ? Other than assuring you that The League does not wish to lose any club, we're not actually going to do anything about it. We will continue to maintain a dialogue with Wrexham, because at least talk is cheap. But there is nothing further we can add, because we're not actually going to do anything other than stand and watch while Wrexham F C are raped.

Thank you for contacting The Football League, but please don't bother in future. I don't need the hassle to be honest.

Surely I'm not alone in finding it so very reassuring that the football authorities in this country have such taken enormous steps forward. Ever since we had cause to sing "The FA's done f*** all" during those dark days, it's clear they've done everything in their power to stop this sort of thing from happening again. Hats off all round. Stupid arseholes.

Well, at least we know that Patricia and her colleagues at the Football League are busy dealing with the really important things in our game. Such as re-naming (sorry, re-BRANDING) all the divisions so that they all sound really COOL. Oh, and making sure all the clubs have the Coca Cola emblem in their own clubs colours.

I don't know about you, but I find it infinately reassuring that the authorities look after details such as this, while clubs such as Wrexham and Notts County are going to the wall.

Well. Done. Everyone.

This is just plain wrong. The FA need to be seen doing something about this kind of thing. If they don't then more and more clubs are going to find themselves being f***ed on by people who care nothing about football.

I think it's safe to say they would move heaven and Earth to ensure that they are okay.

Judging by the publicity given to them because someone they don't like the look of is buying a few too many shares, I'm sure it would never get anywhere near this serious.

Got the same response, too - as always, it seems, they're only too happy to see yet another club f***ed over by some greedy tossers, leaving the FL free to worry about more pressing matters... it's enough to make you weep.

Spot on Easy. The policy of conflict avoidance is clearly working within all Football authorities. If it is classed under the heading 'this might be difficult' or 'it's not the Premiership' then none of them are remotely interested.

They were prepared to let Wimbledon die and be reincarnated as MK Dons but not prepared to fight for a team that has a much longer history.

Just a bunch of suited tossers! :censored: :shootself
