hopefully not Souness , I reckon he could do alright

I reckon not. Thought he was an awful manager for Newcastle and most of his time at Blackburn, I mean look what Hughes has done since he left.

Why would he piss us off?

He couldn`t do a job we expected of him therefore it should be Charlton fans that are worrying.

I dont think they will be tho, IMO he is a good manager and could do very well with a club like Charlton.

He got you in the premiership FFS if he didn't do his job by taking you from fourth bottom at Christmas and getting you promoted then he deserves a better club. He also done very well to take it to the last day of the season when you got relegated and nearly got you promoted again this season.

Dowie going doesnt bother me in the slightest, he is an impact manager who after a time runs out of ideas. His time had come i am afraid

As i have said in another post he is an impact manager and he done fantastically well to take us up that season, but it became plainly obvious with his strange team selections and having no plan b when we went behind that he still has lots to learn on the tactical side of the game. However i wish him all the best at Charlton i really do.

Signed a few good players at Blackburn including a cheap Pederson, won a trophy in Turkey. Didnt do much at Newcastle granted.

If he can not fall out with Jordan I can still see him doing ok

An opinion not shared by the majority by the look of things.

I think he did a decent job for you. Took you away from relegation to promotion, almost kept you in the league and then took you to the playoffs. Why can't the majoirty of Palace fans see that!?? The real arse in question is Jordan.

Doubtful, isn't he in a bit of a bad way at the moment ?
Not sure, he left Wycombe after spending most of the last 6 months on compassionate leave but said he didn't want to leave and was looking to get back into management asap. Hopefully he's still available when McGhee is axed.

I cant see what the problem is to be honest BoF, Dowie was pushed by Jordan absolutely no question so why Uncle Si is bothered where Dowie goes is more than a bit baffling in my book. I mean he doesnt want him so why the f*** is he fussed where he goes? And if you actually saw the Press Conference it was Jordan who stated that Dowie wanted to move nearer to his family, not Dowie.
