Wonder if there is some correlation. Trump loses his job, a job becomes available at Sheffield.
Donald would be best off steering clear. It may well be the biggest job in World Football but he wouldn't get a very warm welcome in Sheffield.....

You are probably right, I dont know much about Sheffield.

How about Burnley? Not sure he got the required coaching diplomas but then again also not sure he had the required presidency diplomas.

England women manager Phil Neville and former Macclesfield manager Sol Campbell are under consideration for the vacant manager's job at Sheffield Wednesday. (Sky Sports)

I cannot imagine there’s a big enough named manager out there for a club of their immeasurable size?

It is a lovely place to live: small enough for the friendly approach you experienced, but big enough that not everyone knows your business. Call in Tangerine Cafe next time (we open Sue-Weds so I can get to Amex most home games when it is open) with an Albion artefact for a free cup of coffee.

Noted. I live in Sydling (not a euphemism)

Not so sure he really applied for it. He sounds quite horny (as usual...) about the "Islands Open Cups", some kind of competition in the Caribbeans. Easy work, decent pay, nice sunny beaches, nice fanny bitches... all he wants.

....and who could blame him ? If I get a call on Monday from a headhunter asking if I’d be prepared to spend a few months in the Windies on a massive tax-efficient salary helping out a local bank I’d be packing my case before anyone could say ‘rum punch’.
