By the sounds of things today Johnson is rapidly running out of options. Sue Grey's report will surely confirm that he did attend a party that he has been calling everything except a party. Is this man fit to lead if he does not know if he attended a party at his own house?

The hilarious prospect at the end of the investigation is Johnson having to " punish "' himself for breaking the rules he imposed!

Tory policies - more nationalism

Samuel Johnson wrote: "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel."

I wonder if this is a cynical ploy to deflect attention away from the gross hypocrisy of this mendacious government.....

Of course it is.....be prepared for a renewed threat from Truss to trigger Article 16 immediately as a nice little deflection...

I think you are right and sincerely hope when Johnson finally crawls out of number 10 for the last time it signals a similar exit from NSC of those who profess to be 'right behind Boris'.... or a least prompts reflection on their naivety.....

Is this a description of Boris Johnson's condition?

What are the traits of sociopathy?
The list of common traits you might see in someone who has antisocial personality disorder, says Dr. Coulter, include:

Not understanding the difference between right and wrong.
Not respecting the feelings and emotions of others.
Constant lying or deception.
Being callous.
Difficulty recognising emotion.
Manipulation.
Arrogance.
Violating the rights of others through dishonest actions.
Impulsiveness.
Risk-taking.
Difficulty appreciating the negative aspects of their behaviour.
Some with sociopathy may not realise that what they’re doing is wrong while others may simply not care. And sometimes, Dr. Coulter says, it can be both.

“There’s just a total lack of empathy or recognising that what they’ve done has hurt someone or it’s only benefited themselves,” he says. “And sometimes they might recognise what they’re doing is wrong, they just don’t care or they justify it to themselves.”

Vat could have been lowered whilst we were still in the EU, as Spain has just done.

Before the apologists quote Johnson from last week, where he lied about it.

Typically personal and typically vacuous...

You have a great deal explained to you but you expect others to understand it for you as well.......

Person complaining about politicians making misleading comments then posts misleading comments shock.

We could not lower our 5% rate while in the EU as that was the minimum rate allowed. Spain has lowered there's because it was much higher but even now it's still way above our current 5% rate. Labour want to get rid of our 5% rate which they couldn't do if we were still in the EU

Does your 'ho' have any credibility?

Do you have anything worthwhile to say on the thread topic? Or anything else?

Take your time, construct something relevant, check the spelling/punctuation and then press 'send' ......
