I reckon Barber walks around with one of those readers for the contactless credit cards in his pocket, 'accidentally' bumping into people, and debiting £2.50 from their cards each time, for the privilege.

Figuratively, I'm afraid. Amusing concept though.
If it's of any interest, he was "dressed down" (much like the management team have been recently) and was sporting a rather splendid green jumper/black trouser combo

Well I work a stone's throw from your location and after I read your initial post I saw a very interesting Bentley parked near the end of Wilbury Road so I spent my lunch hour sitting outside the coffee shop (other coffee shops are available) watching the world go by and the world did go by - but just not PB or TB

Well I work a stone's throw from your location and after I read your initial post I saw a very interesting Bentley parked near the end of Wilbury Road so I spent my lunch hour sitting outside the coffee shop (other coffee shops are available) watching the world go by and the world did go by - but just not PB or TB
It was in Starbucks (other American corporate machines are available), just off Palmeira Square if you are planning any future Barber watching. Would make sense if TB was in the country at present...could have been him.
