Exactly. There can be no excuses for the defending last night. You lose an early goal, which always scuppers any pre-match plans. Then you get back into it. Then you let in another soft goal to rock you back. Then you actually get a goal. Then you pass up the opportunity to put any pressure back on them by letting in a ridiculous third soon after. Then everyone gives up.
For much of the first 67 minutes we were arguably the better side, and I didn't think Norwich were all that to be honest, for all their much-vaunted front three of Martin, Holt and Hoolahan. They were just lucky to have caught us in such a generous mood.
