As for the ratings, quite why Jarrett gets an 8 is beyond me. Him, Oatway and Mayo were especially culpable of losing posession in dangerous areas and jarrett, for all his skill, rarely if ever played a killer ball last night preferring to try and take the whole team on. He must improve.

Jarrett 4.5 : Lost too much ball, didn't track back. No Final product. All the good attacking work came from CKR, Knight and Carole. Didn't show twice for throw ins on his wing either.
Carole 7 : Attacking threat whose floated pinpoint cross should have won us the game. Deducted for not passing when we were 3 on 1 and weakly shot instead. Needs to track back when Reid bombs forward.
.

How can u give Jarrett a 4.5 for that display?! OK he lost the ball occasionally in his own half which is something he needs to look at but I thought apart from that he was our best player at times.

His tracking back was excellent for most of the match and was the one player who wanted to run at Leics. His crossing could do with some work but I think he deserved at least a 7.5.

First time I have seen Carole and he was very disappointing, that shot when he had others clean through was absolutely woeful.

Henderson's instinctive save was immense and he looks in control of his box now, even showed himself to be the 11th player he goes on about with some excellent distribution.

Must be time to say goodbye to Mayo and Oatway though, especially the ginger prince, that was a terrible display and maybe getting someone like Dodd back will improve Jarrett even more!

Henderson 8 some excellent saves
Mayo 5 Defending ok but distribution shocking
Reid 6 Solid
Tank 7 Won everything in the air
McShane 7 Looks a class act
Charlie 5 Threw himself into every tackle with enthusiasm, but tended to miss most of them.
Hammond 7 Looked good on the ball but how did he miss that chance
Jarrett 6 Can dribble past people at will but has the passing and crossing ability of Steven Hawking
Carole 7 Looked a good singer and put in some decent balls
Leon 6 not given enough supply
CKR 6 Quiet first half but showed some sublime skills later on

Sub:

Fruity 6 One good run and cross, gave the Boo-Boys something to shout at when he came on for the last few minutes

I was sat on the halfway line with Jarrett patrolling the wing directly in front of me. He didn't have a great game in my eyes - he kept losing the ball and his crossing was awful - In 2nd half he didn't find an Albion player with one ball in!

Interesting how views can differ so markedly from one person to another! my take, from last night..

Jarrett - full blooded, 110%, great tracking back, skillful, dangerous

Carole - lightweight, limp, half hearted

You can say that again :lolol:

Have to really pity the Albion Exiles abroad, trying to work out who played well and who didn't from NSC is tricky!

Anyways, enjoying myself here in Malta and I was very pleased to find out we got a point, even though I can't work out if it was a good performance or not.

Dwayne - sorry maybe if Carole wasn't a his best last night, but if you'd have seen him in other games this season, you wouldn't describe him as half-hearted and lightweight!

I was really looking forward to watching Carole for the first time last night after the reviews I had heard but was so disappointed by the end of it.

Not gonna dwell on it because everyones allowed a bad game, its just that when wingers have a poor match it tends to show more than others, dont think he fancied going up against that thug Tiatto after being scythed down early on!
